A dip in value for Obama endorsements?

A bit more of the article reads:

"Voters rejected one of President Barack Obama's hand-picked candidates and forced another into a runoff, the latest sign that his political capital is slipping beneath a wave of anti-establishment anger."

Frankly I do no understand why the press insists on using kid gloves when they talk about El Presidente'. They certainly didn't with those after whom he has patterned his presidency. Those would include Ceasar Chavez, Manuel Noriega, Adolph Hitler and the like.

The people of this country have seen through the smoke and mirrors to view the REAL Obama. Why can't the press?
