Just a Holiday Observation

When I came to the US and hooked up with other members of my extended family here, Thanksgiving was always a big deal.  A deal almost as big and in some ways bigger than Christmas. It was a time when we could still travel easily and not have to battle the snow in the mountains.  The weather was still warm enough we could be outside. And it was a time of gathering the family together.

I understand the story about the Pilgrims and all that.  My nephew put that story straight when he said,  "After the first terrible winter, the pilgrims enjoyed a bountiful harvest.  Then held a big feast and invited their Indian neighbors.  Everyone sat down for a wonderful dinner and for the comradery.   Then after dinner the Pilgrims murdered the Indians and stole their land."  That version does compress history a bit.

But the point is this year and over the past several years Thanksgiving has become more and more less important. A few years ago the stores began opening the day after Thanksgiving early.  Then they stayed open late for the early Christmas shoppers. This year they are opening right after the turkey is devoured on Thanksgiving evening.

I was in the stores two weeks ago and found NO MENTION of Thanksgiving, but all the Christmas trash was predominately displayed. I suspect in another 8 or 10 years we will go directly from July 4th to Christmas shopping.  Am I the only one who thinks this is sad?

The Buck Stops Where??

Obama's apology yesterday was more of the same old horseshit piled higher and deeper.  It was amazing to watch Obama take "full responsibility" for this fiasco then blame you, me, the insurance companies and every
Republican who ever lived - especially the Tea Party.

I came away from his "apology" with the idea that he did nothing wrong, has never done anything wrong, will never do anything wrong and there is nothing wrong with Obamacare.  It's that's so then why are the 11 Democrat Senators  up for reelection next year running for cover?

Here we have another example of the incredible incompetence of the Obama Administration. First, Obama ignores U.S. Law and feeds the Egyptian military millions in aid even though the law says that would be illegal after a military take-over. But, of course, he had to do that to battle the Muslim Brotherhood (not really since Obama is one of them).  But after the dust clears and it obvious the Muslim Brotherhood is not going to get power back anytime soon, Obama pulls the aid at a time when the Egyptians most need it.

Once could not dream up a worst foreign policy.

Sebelius says she doesn't 'work for' those calling for her resignation

This is another example of the egotistic attitude the permeates the Obama administration.  Kathleen Sebelius doses not work for me?   My taxes pays her  overly inflated salary.  It''s my idea that Ms Sebelius should resign  or be fired for incompetence, lying to the American people and the squandering of $1 Billions in federal dollars.

The choice of the contractor to build the Obamacare site was flawed.  CGI has left lasw suites and failed projects all over the country.  Why weren't the vetted?   How much did they give Obama to finance his reelection campaign and why was there no oversight of them during the past 3 years?

If Ms Sebelius visited the White House 155 times as reported, why didn't the liars in that building (including the president - the great liar) know what was going on?  Or did he/they?  Is this another cover up like Benghazi, Fast and Furious etc? This Administration believes the American people are so stupid we will believe any lie that tell us.

Why don't they find something good to fight about?   Gustov Whitehead did build and airplane in 1901 and flew in a straight line for some distance.  When he tried to turn he crashed.

Two years later the Wright Brothers discovered a way to turn without crashing and made the first controlled flight with an "out and back" flight -  something Whitehead could not do.

Firms claim gov't failed to properly test ObamaCare site

The logic  is unbelievable.  As everyone now knows the Obamacare Website doesn't work.  The $600,000,000 of Taxpayer dollars squandered by HHS was another typical scam by the Obama Administration.

Using this logic,  if you spent $35,000 for a new car. and it fell apart to a pile of junk in the middle of the street in front of the showroom it's  YOUR FAULT, not the manufacturer's or the Dealers.  So are we buying this?   The companies that wrote the site are responsible for testing it to ensure that the taxpayers are not getting ripped off.

But then how many other messes has the Obama Administration created just like this one?   I suppose this is all about "Stimulating the Economy"??

Is the media giving Ted Curz a raw deal?

Compared to what? Compared to the media treatment of Obama? Compared to the media treatment of Obamacare?   Compared to the media treatment of Harry Reid?  Compared to the media treatment of Nancy Pilosi? Yes. He got a raw deal.

Now, in my opinion, Ted Cruz is a compete moronic incompetent.  This is shown by his stupid grand standing with his Senate Filibuster over defunding Obamacare.   That was never going to happen. All that really did was raise the hackles on the back of Obama's neck leading him to say, "My way or the Hiway."

Ted Curz has always been a one issue politician - Immigration. That's all he knows.  Why in the world he jumped into the Obamacare mess we will never understand.  GO BACK TO IMMIGRATION, TED.  It's a loser too but at least you don't look STJUPID spouting off about that because no one is listening.

This idiot, along with his pea-brained partner, Marco Rubio, are on the wrong side.  They are only interested in getting getting reelected by grand standing and  pulling some fake street theater to calm their own egos.

Dufunding Obamacare and Immigration Reform cannot be done as long as Obama is president.  Obamacare is the one and only thing Obama has to  point to as victory while in office.  Immigration reform leaves Obama and everyone else at opposite ends.   Obama wants Hispanic voters.   Everyone else wants to decide what to do with millions of illegals.   But turn them into voters?

Wow.  Sandra Bullock shines in this film.   I recommend this to everyone.  It has all the things Obama does not. Honesty, good acting, screen  presence and believability.

Sorry Obama but you are a liar. Y our healcare bill is a train wreck. And y you are totally unable to tell the truth about anything.  That goes for you favorite pets:  Harry (The madman) Reid and Nancy (the senile) Pelosi.   Pass the bill so we can find out what's in it?  Or the Tea Party is holding the economy hostage when the Republicans including the Tea Party worked all weekend to try to stop the partial shutdown while the Democrats wouldn't even look at that bills the House sent over until the 11th hour?

Harry Reid and Nancy Pilose have forgotten who they work for and why they were elected.  Listen you two.  The People do not want a shut down and they do not want Obamacare.  The fear of standing up to our Imperial President and running the risk of being branded RACIST by his legions and losing campaigne money from the DNC does not discharge you from that duty.

Stand up with the "big people" for once.  Let Obama know his health care bill is dead and his budget, along with his economic plans, are a shambles.

House Republicans' new spending bill calls for 1-year delay on ObamaCare

Again the insane Senator Harry Reid his hopping mad because those dirty Republicans don't like Obamacare.  He says the latest House Bill which would not kill Obamacare but delay it until the end of 2014 (after the elections) is "dead on arrival" in the Senate.


It seems the only thing Obama as done in 5 years is pass a law creating the ACA (Obamacare) which nobody read before voting on it, was poorly written, contains the largest tax increase in American history, will increase the cost of healthcare, reduce the availability of healthcare the most middle class Americans and nobody except Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the rest of the haters in the Democratic Party.



Because of the intractable position of Reid and his cronies we face a shut down on Tuesday even though Obama himself has said the law is not ready to implement, the IRS has said they are not ready and HEW has said the systems in place now don't work.

The best thing about the Republican version is Obamacare would not take affect until after the November, 2014 elections.  With so many Democratic seats in both houses up for grabs, it's likely the Republicans will take back the Senate and hold onto the House.  Then Obamacare can finally be repealed and put to rest.

SHUT UP TED!

Ted Cruz is an idiot.  His grandstanding before he Senate was a complete waste of time. If anything it induced more Republican Senators to side with the the Democrats over the budget ceiling. 21 hours of nothing amounts to nothing.

So why the grand standing? I can answer that question from history as recent as 2007.  At that time, out of the woodwork came a senator who have no experience, no voting record and no reason to ever be elected to anything more important than dog catcher. We all recognize this man as Barrack Obama.

Obama was the master at grandstanding.  He gave beautiful speeches filled with hope and lies. The left pounced on him as a cat would pounce on a rat. Why?  Because he was new, because he was black and because no one had any idea what his true positions were.  All he would say is he was going to, "fundamentally change how Washington works" and that "he was the only candidate who would work both sides of the aisle."  Fundamental change has turned into socialist policies that have put the U.S. on the road to becoming a second class nation.  Working both sides of the aisle clearly has meant ignoring the Republican House and blaming them for all his own failures.

Is this the kind of man we want to be President?  Isn't Cruz essentially the same person in another garb?

Both Cruz and Rubio are one issue candidates - Immigration reform.  For Cruz to jump on the Obamacare bandwagon is insulting.  His position is not been thought through. He had to know before his stupid speech before the senate that he was wasting everyone's time and he had to know that this was only a stage for him to bring his name out to public view so that the ignorant would follow him and contribute to his election campaign.

I'm disgusted.

Okla. gun laws to blame for college baseball player's death?It's

It's clear the tactics of the left to gain everything they have ever wanted.  Two teenage Blacks and one White plotted, planned and murdered a student in Oklahoma. Now there is a lot of outrage.

The Left is screaming for more "Gun Control" to keep guns out of the hands of everyone except the criminals.

The Blacks are blaming "the white aristocracy which has created this unfair divide between cultures."

The "intellectual elite" is blaming cuts in "gimme" programs.

Why isn't anyone blaming these three murderers for the crimes they committed, then laughed about and tweeted as if they had just won the Super Bowl?  The Right is trying to do just that.   The Left's reaction is to yell and shout so the Right cannot be heard, then spew their own misdirected BullS**t to claim they "won" the argument.

I'm seen this over and over. It happened and is still happening with Tryvon Martin  The Chicago 7 is another example.  The Panthers threatening voters in Chicago during the 2008 election who were "simply being helpful to the voters" and the list goes on and on.

But yelling and shouting down the opposition does NOT win an argument. It only makes the Left look more and more lame and self important without doing anything to solve the real problems they claim do not exist.

GOP big enough for Sen. Rand Paul and Gov. Chris Christie?

Chris Christie is exactly right.  The GOP has to win the 2016 election.   What we do not need is another loser like Rand Paul who will lay down and let the Democrats run over him like Romney did in 2012.

Rand Paul has NEVER been a Republican.  He has always been and continues to be today, a loud-mouthed Libertarian who only wants to split the party the same way his father did. His ideas are wrong. He disagrees with everyone. And has ideas that make no sense to anyone.

Ted Cruz on defunding Obamacare

It's true, dear readers,  there is a retard born every minute.   Ted Cruz is completely out of his league here.  You cannot defund Obamacare.  To do so, the Democrats will shut down the government and blame the Republicans.

Even if Cruz suceeds in defunding Obamacare and not shutting down the government,  it's clear Cruz has not read a newspaper or magazine in years.   Obama will simply fund it by stealing money from some other, far more worthy program.   If that doesn't work, Obama will fund Obamacare legally using his Administrative Law Powers. 

It's obvious that Ted Cruz is far more interested in making headlines in some failure of an attempt to gain the White House than doing anything in Congress that is worthwhile.  The man needs to get a life, drop out of politics (he's unfit for the job) and go back to whatever rock he crawled out from under.

STAND YOUR GROUND PROVES RACISM

It's pretty obvious that the black community doesn't care if George Zimmerman was guilty or not - HE'S GUILTY!.  They are cherry picking facts in the cast and misquoting the testimony.  This morning I heard Martin was intentionally STALKED. There was nothing in any of the testimony that said anything like that.  George Zimmerman "racially profiled" Martin.  Even the prosecution said that was not true.

The NAACP demands an FBI investigation into Zimmerman's "Hate Crime."  That was done months ago and found no evidence of racism at all  other than Martin calling Zimmerman a "creepy cracker."

None of this matters.The fact that the "Straight A Student" was on his third suspension from school,  he was found with bergerlery tools, is known to sell drugs and commonly picks fights, means nothing to the racist Race Police headed by the likes of Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson.

Today Obama spoke publicly damning the "Stand Your Ground" law in Florida.  This is another item the race haters have pick up on.  But if you look, nowhere in the court proceedings was that law brought up or used as a defense.Furthermore, Obama, Holder or anyone else in the Federal Government has sway over a state law that does not violate the U.S. Constitution.

The whole point is, Martin acted, if not racially, at least, incorrectly when he started the fight with Zimmerman.  Zimmerman was found Not Guilty of the charges. Martin has to bare part of the blame in his own death. Did Zimmerman do some things that were wrong?  Yes.  I'm not defending that.

More importantly, I refuse to support or condone the racial hatred that is coming from the black community. Sorry if they didn't like the outcome of the court case. But the jury made their honest decision.  So live with it.

Zimmerman Not Guilty

The blacks and left wing nut jobs are screaming, "Travesty Of Justice!"  No. Zimmerman got a fair trial which was closely watched to make sure all the i's were dotted and t's crossed. Justice was carried out in this case.

From day one the likes of Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson have been demanding Zimmerman's blood.  Let's get serious.  The police at the scene of the shooting could not find any evidence of a crime.  The case was reviewed by the Chief of Police.  He could find no evidence to arrest Zimmerman and charge him with a crime.

The one thing that really irked the Blacks and the Left Wing nuts was that Zimmerman was "barely white enough to push forward..." their racist agenda and viewpoint.  Days ago I said to a friend, "If Zimmerman gets off, there will be some black guys - Jackson, Sharpton or whoever, who will be pushing t he Black Community to riot."  I see it coming. 

What would have been the reaction if Travon Martin had killed Zimmerman?  I envision the black community screaming to "FREE TRAVON!"  For a white (or semi white) person.  it's a losing situation because of the racism coming from the blacks and the left.

Obama's War on Coal and Global Wrming Insanity

First of all 40% of all electrical generation in the United States comes of Coal Fired plants.   Put and end to the Coal Industry and 40% of Americans will be in the dark and cold. The other truth, Obama and his ultra left wing cronies have chosen to over look is the scientific fact that the Earth is growing cooler, not warmer.  The so called evidence that this is the prelude to catastrophe is thin at best and totally unscientific.

The Obama hate agenda has over looked the real offender:  CHNA.. That country has no rules for air quality and refuses to even discuss the matter.  They  have more autos than the U.S. and they all openly smoke, spewing thousands of ton of carbon emissions into the atmosphere every day.

Remember the Snowdon mess?  What was Obama's answer to the Constitutional violations and potential criminal activities at the NSA?  "Let's Get That SOB!"  not let's clean up the mess our friends at the NSA have created. 

This leads us to the Coal regulations.  Obama has found that mysteriously after a couple of speeches the whole thing didn't go away.  So he dragged up the Coal Industry and phoney regulations to give everyone something else to look at.  Sorry, Barry.  It didn't work.  I'm still looking at Benghazi, the IRS, and the NSA.

Go make another speech.  That's the only thing you are half good at.

The Immigration Fiasco

I realize that immigration and border security are a problem. However, all the yacking I hear from the Conservative side is about driving up unemployment and driving down wages.  The liberals scream about driving the economy with an added 30 million new workers.  But let me ask a few real questions.  Of those legal workers with green cards in the U.S. how many pay taxes?  How many receive Food Stamps. How many are on public assistance for housing? And how many are on the welfare rolls (you don't even need a Social Security Number to receive welfare)?

The liberals are dead set against securing the borders.  I can think of one really good reason to stop the illegal immigration that seems to have been passed over by the media - DRUGS entering the U.S. every night carried across the border by paid "immigrants" who do it night after night.  These are not immigrants.  These are criminals in the employ of the drug cartels.  Does this say the liberals don't want their supply of drugs cut off?

What More Poof Do You Need?

Obama now has waited until his friends inb al Qieda and el Shariah have joined the fight on the side of the rebles in Syria before sending arums to overthrow the government.  I don't understand why he doesn't just empty our warehouses of military hardware and give it to the anti-American terrorists groups around the world.  That certainly would save a lot of time and trouble.  

 

It has become too clear that Obama is not working for America.  The terrorist who murdered so many at Fort Hood, the Boston Bomber, the New York Subway Bomber all are not terrorists.  For some unfathomable reason they are simply work related or just crazy people - but NOT terrorists.  That's because Obama has "won the war on terror."  

 

But that raises the question, if the terrorists have been defeated why is the NSA spying on Americans?  Accourding the the NSA Chairman, it's to stop all terrorist attacks.  Wait a minute.  The terrorists were defeated, remember?  Who's ass is Obama trying to blow smoke up anyway?

Now isn't this how El Presidente' and his Liberal Coneys operate?  The fact that the NSA stomped all over our Right to Privacy, as guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution, seems to mean nothing while the dastardly character who spilled the beans is hunted like a common criminal.  Has anyone at NSA been disciplined or fired?  Has anyone even bothered to apologize to the American  people?

And look where the outrage is coming from.  The Republicans are screaming, but dead silence from the left.  I do recall a time when there was plenty of whining from the Democrats.  The Washington Post dated December 16, 2005 ran a story titled:  Bush Authorized Domestic Spying.   The outcome was the NSA agreed to stop electronic surveillance of all American Citizens unless there was clear evidence they were associate with terrorists or terrorist organizations. Someone at NSA seems to have forgotten.

Wait a minute.  According to El Presidente' himself Al Queda is "on the run" and all the other terrorists and terrorist groups are defeated.  So what is the reason for domestic spying now?  Regardless how much the Obama Administration wants it, they cannot have it both ways.   Either Obama LIED to the American people about what a fine job he did defeating terrorism or he's a complete failure and spying on American Citizens is justified to combat terrorism.
